My Story
I began my healthcare journey at 16 years old as a volunteer EMT-B in New Jersey, where I learned the value of resilience and human connection in moments of crisis. Over the years, I’ve practiced across New Jersey, Florida, and now Colorado, with experience spanning emergency medicine, pediatrics, trauma, intensive care, academia, and psychiatry. I have also served on the frontlines of major emergencies, including hurricanes and the 2016 Pulse Nightclub tragedy in Orlando- an event that profoundly shaped my commitment to mental health care.
Academically, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), a Master of Science in Nursing Education (MSN-Ed) from the University of Central Florida, a Post-Master’s Certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) from Colorado State University Pueblo, and most recently, a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Regis University.
Today, as a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I bring over 15 years of healthcare experience into my practice. I care for patients across the lifespan- from children and adolescents to adults and older adults—blending evidence-based treatment with compassionate, individualized care. Whether supporting someone through anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, or complex mental health needs, my goal is always to create a safe, collaborative space for healing- because each person’s story matters, and every story deserves hope.
